In the early 80s a journalist lead to Paolo Brioschi a rare document confirming the existence of Boeucc since 1696, when it was a small inn between Via Durini and Via Borgogna, where remained until 1939, then moved in the current place of Piazza Belgioioso, a convenient and strategic location that place the restaurant in the center of Milan, a few steps away from Teatro la Scala.

Paolo Brioschi, intrigued by the unexpected news, expanded the research, taking the honor of becoming the depositary of the centuries-old tradition of the historical restaurant in Milan, then letting it all inherited by the daughter Monica and her husband Marco.
